Election Commission has intentionally rejected thousands of re-registration forms and has also shared voters information with Yameen’s election campaign office . It is a matter of grave concern.
If this isn’t an attempt at vote rigging than I don’t know what is. @ElectionsMv had accepted my re-reg form & registered me to vote in London. Today I found I have been put back for a #Maldives ballot box. Pls help. @JamesDauris @amessd_southend #Thread pic.twitter.com/f9cBpHjiQt

7368738 Yameen’s campaign office called my mom today morning at 10:28 saying her form was rejected. At 20:33 tonight @ElectionsMv sent her a sms saying her retegistation form had been rejected pic.twitter.com/xBETvutuHd

I was reregistered to male on 14th Aug. Then I received a message tonight that they could not verify my reregistration application!!!! I filled my own form. Now I am no longer registered to vote in male. If Yamin thinks that he can steal my vote by doing this, it is not happening pic.twitter.com/f8Z8EyZltj

Once @ElectionsMv has accepted an application & confirmed that a voter has been re-registered to a certain ballot box, EC cannot cancel the application unless there is a complaint with regard to the said re-registeration! This is fraud & EC must be made answerable! #VoteVagu https://t.co/cposh49BYi

I personally went to @ElectionsMv to submit my mother’s re-registration form. I did not let her re-register through any political party because I wanted avoid the confusion. For EC to now say that her form cannot be verified is proposterous! Stop disenfranchising voters!

In 24 hours:leaked audio suggesting @ElectionsMv handed over voter’s registration info to Yameen.
– cancelling vote registration of many who’d already been registered.
– cancelled vote box at Holiday Inn Kandooma, saying not enough registered.
Mass disenfranchisement, mass fraud.

Elections Commission colluding with Yaameen’s Campaign to rig the September vote by invalidating thousands of opposition re-registration forms on the pretext that they were unable to ‘verify’ the said forms.
Over 5000 forms rejected so far.@ShareefRangondi must be sanctioned.

#MvElection2018 @ElectionsMv releases list of over 5000 voters whose forms have supposedly been rejected from re-registering at 1am on Friday during the 10 day long Eid holidays, giving ppl 3 days to re-register their vote. No compensation given to those away on Hajj. https://t.co/BGEC6yZh1a

From Holhudhoo Dhaaira a total of 57 forms were rejected by @ElectionsMv. 5 from Magoodhoo, 26 from Milandhoo and another 26 from Holhudhoo.

It is true after all. Re-registeration forms are being peddled from #PPM Offices to finally being selectively rejected based on their political inclinations, presumably.

They are saying it’s 6000 forms , but almost everyone I know who had reregistered to vote , their forms has been rejected . This is a huge mess up already . What ever can be done should be done as soon , I’m 99% sure that they will postpone the elections and mess it up as 2013 .. https://t.co/Xt2vjXsqUl

Many notified their vote registration forms rejected, weeks after records showed they were registered.
People who didn’t even submit forms are being notified their forms have been rejected. @ShareefRangondi openly rigging voters list to hand over elections to Yameen. #EUSanctions pic.twitter.com/kGOhkU8LeV

We just discovered that a lot of Voter Re-Registration registered to Malaysia Ballot Box has now reverted to the default Ballot Box. Please spread the news, check and contact the person who assisted with your re-registration.
