I was lucky enough to be invited to a scuba trip in the Maldives.
We arrived in Male on 3/29/23 and flew to Addu the same day.
We got to Addu around 6 pm. We stayed at Wave Sound by 3S Maldives. When we arrived at the hotel we were warmly welcomed with cool refreshing towels and fresh coconut drink! I loved the place; it has a nice ambience. The food was great. The staff were friendly and professional.
Our breakfast time was 7:30 am and pick up time was 8 am.
We did 3 dives per day, 2 in the morning and one after lunch.
The first dive was a check dive, so we were told not to bring any cameras. Since I was a new diver, and haven’t been diving in a while, I was nervous and low-key stressed out especially since we were doing shark dives right away.
Addu Atoll was a great place to start the dive trip.
