So here’s my top tips on how to travel the maldives on a budget…
By avoiding the luxury Maldives resorts and exploring the local islands in the Maldives instead you can discover paradise for a fraction of the cost.
With local guesthouses from around $40-60 per night, delicious meals from $5 and inter island ferries for just a few dollars its much more affordable than many people realise.
There’s plenty to see and do as well – from scuba diving on Fulidhoo to surfing on Thulusdhoo and Himmafushi to day trips from Maafushi.
